This weekend, 15 incredible London Nightline supporters took on the Hackney Half – and what a day it was. Sunshine, music, and cheering crowds created a buzzing atmosphere from start to finish, and our runners brought the energy every step of the way.
Together, they’ve raised over £7,000 for our student mental health helpline. That support will go directly towards keeping our overnight listening service running – so students across London always have someone t talk to when they need it most.
Fittingly, race day also marked the end of Mental Health Awareness Week. It’s a powerful reminder that looking after our mental healthisn’t just a one-week focus – it’s something that matters all year round. IOur runners didn’t just complete 13.1 miles; they helped shine a light on the importance of support, connection and being there for each other.
We’re so proud of every person who laced up their trainers for Team Nightline this year: you made a real difference.
If you’ve been inspired and want to take on a challenge for London Nightline, we’d love to have you involved. You can find full details of hundreds of events on our Donate page, and places for the Hackney Half 2027 are already open.
We hope to see you on the start line next year!
