The host asks questions to the quizzers in a packed, neon-lit pub

In celebration of 55 years of London Nightline, we held our 3rd annual pub quiz fundraiser last night and are delighted to announce we raised over £1,300!

With over 100 people in attendance, it was such a special evening, and we wanted to give a big thanks to everyone who made this event possible. The energy radiated out of the legendary Flamingo Room in Soho where we had 20 teams, each determined to claim the winning prize.

It was a night full of laughter and friendly competition as our fabulous quiz master, Charlie, took the stage, guiding our teams through six rounds of trivia, including a themed round on anniversaries which nodded to Nightline’s 55th celebrations. At the end of the night, the team Not Fussed came in first place and received a special congratulations and winning chocolates to take home.

Every pound raised will go directly towards running our confidential overnight helpline service and supporting students all across London.

We also wanted to take the time to thank all the local businesses that donated such generous prizes to our raffle. A huge thank you to The Star of Bethnal Green, Pasta Nostra, Barry’s Bootcamp, Freddie's Flowers, the Climbing District, Oxygen Active Play, Calm, Daunt Books, More Yoga, and Cass Art! The prizes were in high demand and followed with huge cheers when the lucky raffle winners were able to claim their prize.

A second thank you to O’Neill’s Wardour Street forgenerously providing us the space to host this magical night, and their excellent bar team.

Finally, we wanted to give a huge thank you to our brilliant quiz master, Charlie, for stepping up and taking the stage, on this third successive occasion. He did a phenomenal job of bringing so much enthusiasm and energy to his role, and we’re very grateful for his ongoing support of Nightline.

Thanks to all who attended, supported, and donated to London Nightline, this event couldn’t have happened without you. We hope to see you again at a future event soon!
